PLAZA
General Move-In Guidelines
Before moving in, all tenants must register with the DeRenne Office on the ground floor, first hallway on the left upon entering the building. Please see the Building Manager for a registration form and additional information. You may also download the tenant form from our website.
Tenant Form - contact information is needed on every person living in the unit, including phone, email, and emergency contacts.
All residents must be listed with the DeRenne. Please inform the office of any changes in residency. Violators could result in lease cancellation.
Move-in Fee - is currently $150.00 per tenant.
Keys - Keys to your unit, mailbox, and exterior door keys come from the previous owner or rental agent. Additional exterior keys require a fee of $50.00 each. Please ensure the office has a copy of the unit and mailbox keys for the office lockbox. These are needed for emergencies, pest control inspections, etc. You can only get exterior door keys from the office (no locksmith will duplicate). If you lose your mailbox key, contact the office to request a replacement.

Move-in Guidelines
You must notify the Building Manager in advance of the date and time of your move and arrange to borrow keys to the elevator.
Move-in and out time is 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday only. No moving in or out on Sunday (except with written permission from the office).
Moving is not allowed through the front doors of the building without the building manager onsite.

Please do not drag furniture, boxes, or other items across floors when you are moving. A dolly may be borrowed, one is kept just outside the office door. (please return when finished) Any repairs for damage caused by moving in or out will be charged to the tenant or owner.

Pet Policy
Please be advised that owners are allowed to have pets.
Renters unfortunately cannot have pets. (Strictly enforced)
Unless you have a service pet certificate which is required before you move in.
Move-In Day
Please make arrangements with the Building Manager beforehand to obtain these. (Office hours M-F 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.)
You may park between the two dumpsters located on Perry Lane or the front loading zone while unloading, but the vehicle shouldn’t be left unattended. NOTE: The basement door can only be opened from the inside of the building and should not be left open.
Elevator Operations
The elevator key enables you to take control of an elevator. Please respect the other residents by not tying up the elevator any more than necessary. Operating instructions are included below.
Please do not put the elevators on hold except while loading and unloading. This puts undue stress on these old elevators.
Please use only one elevator while moving so current residents may use one or the other. If another person is moving in at the same time, please share that one elevator.
If one of the elevators is out of service, using the elevator key is Not an option. Other residents must have normal access to the working elevator.
To operate the elevator use the key:
Put the key in the Stop (the very bottom is in red ) and turn it ON
The elevator now will only operate if a floor button is pushed and held or until the door closes. Then the button can be released.
If the button is pushed and then let go before the door closes, it will open back up.
When not loading or unloading, please turn the key to the OFF position

Parking

Please note that all parking is by paid meters. The parking adjacent to the building is private. ( All unauthorized vehicles will be towed)
Loading zone directly in front of the building may be used during move-in as well as the area between large dumpsters in the alley behind the building.
